Toronto Catholic District School Board
Of Work: Masonry Replacement, Below grade Waterproofing, Sealant
Replacement and Roofing
assignment at 2665 Kingston Road, St Teresa Shrine Catholic School,
presented us with a great opportunity to demonstrate our ability
to successfully coordinate multiple trade disciplines on a project
with strict deadlines and unknown conditions.
3 story chimneys, and sections of ornamental masonry parapet wall
were completely demolished and rebuild and over 1000 localized
masonry units were replaced. Large sections of the foundation
walls were excavated and waterproofed. All building sealants were
removed and replaced as well as part of the main flat roof. The
historical decorative copper flashings were refurbished and modernized
to be weather tight and a new flag pole was also part of the work.
project was completed on time and within budget making it another
one of many completed with the TCDSB. Special thanks to Pancon
Engineering for responding quickly to site conditions encountered
and working with us to get the school ready to receive the kids
on photo thumbnail to see in full size.
